Been absent for a while. I've been mixing tracks for my EP called Bitter Fruit - my first ever release where I wrote, played, recorded & mixed the whole thing.

(But not mastering you should always give that task to fresh ears!)

Something very strange happened this morning. I left my house for my daily walk and immediately felt something strange. Like a distant memory.
OMG it's the cold! In August. I literally had to go back inside and find a jacket - something I've been unable to wear since late May.

Anyway an excuse to post photos that are not just me in another lacoste because it's too hot for anything else.
I found this 90s G9.

What a peach!

Another culinary post today. Too damn hot to go outside, so decided to deal with this crate of peaches from someone’s garden in Cascais, second hand donation (swipe to see the crate!).

I was not going to turn my nose up at fresh peaches. But no way can I cope with like 30 peaches all ripe at the same time, so. Kept a few aside and the rest donated themselves to a delicious compote.  US recipes online had people adding tons of sugar, I can only assume because American fruit is pretty tasteless in my experience. So I left it out to see and I’m glad I did. Sure enough they were super sweet. Two tbsp of fresh lemon and the rest is their own juice.

Pretty awesome with Greek Yoghurt!
