Haha, you’re absolutely right Z. I learned that term ‘emblamatic’ from you. Bad use of keywords on my part. It’s not a straightforward paisley though, it’s like a block print equivalent of those patch madras shirts. You can see one of the blocks being blue gray here. The overall effect is sort of deep burgundy and dark green. Shame there’s no placket though. I find that the ‘fashion’ element of the Ivy boom often eliminated details such as flat felled armscye seams.
