I was intrigued by the reference to ‘Mitoga Design’ on the swing ticket of that deadstock Arrow Cum Laude shirt. I found a reference as far back as June 1938 ‘Mitoga design that fits his shoulder slope and fits his waist’.

Note the ‘his’ not ‘yours’. Sounds like they were aiming the marketing at wives, doesn’t it?
