The beauty of always buying classic mens clothing is that you can buy anytime, any season, without fear that what you’re buying is ever going to out of style. I won’t even say out of fashion, because that’s irrelevant. It’s only style that matters, regardless of what the source is.

These Sperry CVO in birch canvas without the nasty modern padded ankles feature so heavily in Hollywood & The Ivy Look that it would be foolish not to add them to the collection, to sit alongside my Seamate. I remember a friend of mine buying these in 1982 in John Simons where they were displayed in the window along with one of his inimitable hand written descriptions…
