Interwoven Hut Slippers

Now this is what I need at this time of the year. It’s freezing cold and pouring with rain outside today.

This 1951 ad for sock makers Interwoven has just the right feel to it. Makes me want to order a couple of pairs via the time machine.

I have my hand knitted Cowichan socks I bought on Vancouver Island last Autumn, great heavy monsters with the classic bird motifs like the cardigans, but they do lack a sole and therefore not so good for walking around in.
